I regularly talk about the US Dollar dying and the US Federal Government doing everything they can to stop the inevitable which includes protecting the dollar anyway they can, including creating a “War on Cash”… and the big tool in this new war on cash is the coming digital-only dollar. Aka “FedCoin,” this new currency will replace the dollar bills in your wallet. The only way you’ll be able to spend or earn this new e-cash is via a digital wallet app on your smartphone. and this is going to be a disaster for your privacy. With FedCoin, the government will be able to monitor, track, and record every single transaction you make. and not just track but also approve what you can spend your own money on… trying to buy some black market items, nope… trying to pay an undocumented worker, nope how about your Gardner, babysitter, or someone else? the gov doesn’t have on their approved list now if this is the first time you have heard of this you need to be paying attention right now… because, it’s not when FedCoin is coming, it’s already here. I bring this topic up because as I said, you need to be aware of it but also, it’s one of the main arguments I hear against Bitcoin “wont the gov come out with their own and shut bitcoin down?” Many that don’t understand the differences might think a new digital currency rival as mighty as the U.S. dollar would be bad news for the world’s first cryptocurrency. But in my opinion, I think the introduction of FedCoin will actually boost bitcoins demand… and then send prices even higher. which boosts demand, and on and on and on.. now to really understand this point, you first need to understand the threat a cashless society poses to your wealth… and your freedom. Bill Bonner who has been influential in my view on money said: “Wouldn’t it be nice for the Deep State if all your financial information… and the control of your money… were directly in its hands?” he went on to tell us of Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel The Handmaid’s Tale, in which it talks about a future U.S. that has turned into a police state. The authorities control people with electronic money cards. Like rats in a cage, they get their rations… until the watchdogs cut them off. If the government controls every aspect of the money system, and this could be the real future, not just fiction. This will actually bring to reality the old joke about taxes where the government says “send it all to the IRS and we’ll return what you need.” This system is truly only needed in a socialist state. A free nation MUST have a free economy, by definition.
I already ahead of the game. I own Bitcoin, gold, silver, mining stocks, Cash “until its no good”, land + my house, guns, ammo, can food and MRE’s. With all this I still feel I don’t have enough to deal with whats coming. I don’t think any thinking will give me peace of mind.

Question: couldn’t they just ban Bitcoin? Furthermore, can it be really free/private when all transactions are traceable and usually the first one comes from an exchange which you have to ID yourself? Also thanks a lot for the great content!

Mark I would like to know how are we going to be able to fund our BTC account if all the funds received by the average citizen will be held in FedCoins. Like you are saying about black market, Seems to me like they would never approve BTC as a valid transaction as they could not control it.
